Kerry Lynn Okita was born and raised in Calgary and traveled to Canada’s West Coast for her university education. She received her B.A. (Hon) with distinction from the University of Victoria and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Kerry Lynn had the opportunity to work in many areas of law throughout her law school career as the coordinator of a legal research Centre focusing on women’s rights. She also had the fortune of studying abroad as an exchange student to the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.

Kerry Lynn is currently practicing as a general litigator with a focus on employment and labour law, residential and commercial landlord tenancy issues, and administrative law.

Kerry Lynn enjoys biking, skydiving, surfing, and judo as well as camping and hiking throughout Alberta and British Columbia. She is passionate about traveling and has explored Japan, Central America, and much of Europe including extended trips to Bosnia, Serbia, and Kosovo.
