Our story is part of Alberta's story, and we are very proud of it. In 1903, two years before Alberta became a province, our founder Edward Thomas Bishop opened the first Bishop Law Office in Edmonton. Many of our clients built the landmark buildings of Calgary and Edmonton and grew to become major players on the national scene (please look at our 100th Anniversary Brochure).

Today our clients are building tomorrow's landmarks. We are assisting some of Alberta's pre-eminent businesses and financial institutions with land development, commercial lending, corporate law, licensing and intellectual property, and legal issues arising from the internet.
